We are an acoustic duo who compose and perform folk-inspired music.

The band is made up of Will Green and Ben Lloyd-Evans, two students from the Leeds area. Will (chief songwriter, guitarist and lead vocalist) is an English Literature student at Oxford and Ben (pianist, harmonist and arrangement maestro) studies piano at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

Feldspar combines astute songwriting with intricate harmonies and have been playing together since the start of 2004. Since recording our first album (Paper Planes), we have been writing, playing and listening to anything that is great music, and we are constantly on the lookout for any kind of opportunities to take our music further. At the end of December in 2005 we were lucky enough to record in Metropolis Studios in London with Will Usher, who mixed the subsequent ep.
